Command Center - Grouping, Sorting and Organizing Shipments

You can customize your shipment list to match your workflow by grouping, sorting, and choosing which columns appear in your view. This allows you to quickly organize shipments by key attributes—such as lane, product, tags, or risk—and display only the information that matters most to you. Follow the steps below to adjust your layout and save your preferred settings.

How to Group, Sort, and Organize Your Shipments

1. Open the Shipment List View

  1. Navigate to the Shipment List in CONTXT.

  2. At the top right of the list, locate the column/filter configuration icon next to the search bar.


2. Open the Configuration Panel

  1. Click the configuration icon.
    This will open the panel where you can group, sort, and customize your columns.


3. Group Your Shipments

  1. Under the Group By section, choose what you want to group shipments by.
    You can group by:

    • Shipment ID

    • Lane

    • Tag

    • Product

    • Batch ID

    • Tag Group

    • Order ID

  2. After selecting, your shipment list will reorganize into expandable groups based on your chosen field.


4. Sort Your Shipments

  1. Under the Sort By section, choose how you want your shipments ordered.
    You can sort by:

    • Shipment ID

    • Lane Profile

    • Devices

    • Created At

    • Live Risk Status

  2. Select ascending or descending order if the option is available.


5. Customize Which Columns Appear in Your Table

  1. In the Columns section, you will see two areas:

    • Shown in Table

    • Hidden Columns

  2. To show a column:

    • Ensure the eyeball icon is visible (no line through it).

    • If the column is currently in Hidden Columns, click the eyeball with a line to move it into Shown in Table.

  3. To hide a column:

    • Click the eyeball icon next to that column in Shown in Table.

    • It will move down into Hidden Columns and display the crossed-out eyeball.


6. Save Your Preferences

  1. Once you have finished grouping, sorting, and organizing columns, scroll to the bottom of the panel.

  2. Click Save Preferences.
    This saves your layout so it remains consistent the next time you log in.
