Sharing an External Tracking Link

You can share a shipment’s tracking information with partners, carriers, or destination sites using a secure external link. This lets recipients monitor the shipment’s real-time location—and, if you choose, its product condition—without needing a CONTXT login. Follow the steps below to generate and share the link.

How to Share an External Tracking Link

1. Open the Shipment

  1. From your shipment list, find the shipment you want to share.

  2. Click the Shipment ID to open the Shipment Summary.

2. Locate the Share Icon

  1. At the bottom of the shipment view, find the Share icon.

  2. Click it to open the sharing panel.

3. Choose What Type of Link to Share

After clicking the Share icon, a new panel will appear with two link options:

  1. Real-Time Location + Product Condition

    • Share this if you want the recipient to see the shipment’s current location and temperature status, stability, and other product-related details.

  2. Location-Only Tracking

    • Share this if the recipient only needs to know where the shipment is and when it’s expected to arrive, without exposing product condition details.

4. Copy and Share the Link

  1. Click Copy Link next to the option you want to share.

  2. Paste the link into an email, text, or messaging platform to send to the external party.
