Dramatically Faster Map Performance

Eliminated lag when viewing shipments with multiple devices

We've completely resolved the performance issues that were making certain shipments nearly unusable. Shipments with many tracking devices now load instantly and respond smoothly when you interact with the map.

• Instant map loading: Maps with multiple devices and temperature events now render without delays

• Smooth navigation: Switching between shipments no longer causes system slowdowns or memory errors

• Stable performance: Fixed out-of-memory errors that occurred when navigating through shipment lists

Why this matters: You can now efficiently monitor and manage high-complexity shipments without waiting for maps to load or experiencing system freezes. This is especially important when you need to review multiple shipments or respond quickly to critical temperature events.

Improved Map Visibility and Accuracy

Better information display and zoom behavior

• Accurate excursion tooltips: Hovering over temperature excursion markers now shows the actual excursion details instead of location addresses

• Smart zoom for carrier-only shipments: Maps automatically frame the full route from source to destination when viewing carrier-tracked shipments without devices

• Clearer map styling: Added preview images to the map style selector so you can see what each style looks like before selecting it

Why this matters: Get the right information at a glance without clicking through multiple screens. Proper zoom framing means you immediately see the full shipment route without manual adjustments.

Streamlined Navigation

Quickly return to the main views from anywhere

The top navigation bar items (like "Live Shipments") are now clickable, allowing you to navigate directly back to dashboard views from detail pages without using your browser's back button.

• One-click navigation: Click any breadcrumb item to jump back to that section

• Consistent across all modules: Works in Shipments, Configuration, Temperature Release, and all other modules

• Faster workflow: No more clicking back multiple times to return to your shipment list

Why this matters: Save time navigating the system and maintain context as you move between shipment details and your dashboard views.

Clear Save Confirmations

Know immediately when your changes are saved

When you save changes in Configuration or Preferences, you'll now see a "Changes saved successfully" message confirming your action was completed.

• Instant feedback: Toast notification appears within 1-2 seconds of saving

• Auto-dismiss: Message disappears automatically after a few seconds

• Works everywhere: Consistent confirmation across all save operations

Why this matters: No more uncertainty about whether your configuration changes took effect. You'll have immediate confidence that your lane profiles, notification settings, and other configurations are saved.

Critical Fixes

Temperature Data Export Restored

Fixed the issue where downloading temperature reports from the shipment devices page would fail. CSV downloads now work reliably for all shipments.

Configuration Display Issues Resolved

Fixed the problem where certain display settings would make the geofence radius input fields invisible, preventing you from configuring lane profiles properly.

System Stability Improvements

• Database error cleanup: Resolved recurring database log errors that were affecting system performance

• Authentication updates: Migrated to the latest authentication format for improved reliability and security

• Activity history avatars: Fixed automation user avatars to display correctly in activity history

Tips & Best Practices

Make the most of improved map performance:

• When reviewing complex shipments with many devices, the map will now load instantly - no need to wait before interacting with temperature events or location markers

• Navigate quickly between shipments in your "At Destination" view without performance concerns

Use breadcrumb navigation efficiently:

• Click "Live Shipments" in the top bar to return to your filtered dashboard view

• Click "Configuration" to jump back to the main config screen when editing lane profiles

• This works from any detail page - no more multiple back-button clicks

Optimize your Temperature Release workflow:

• Your most recently completed reviews now appear first, making it easier to verify you've addressed all pending items

• Use the "Reviewed At" column sort to track when reviews were conducted
