Changelog: CONTXT v2.9
Last updated: June 7, 2026
Released May 28, 2026
This release focuses on the accuracy and reliability of your shipment records: product profiles now lock once temperature data is evaluated, document uploads always land on the right shipment, and sign-in issues affecting returning users are resolved.
🆕 What's New
Product Profile Locking for Temperature Release ⭐
Once a shipment's temperature data has been evaluated, its product profile can no longer be changed.
The product profile locks as soon as a temperature status (Normal, Excursion, or Deviation) has been recorded for the shipment
The profile remains editable while the temperature status is still Pending, so you can correct mistakes before evaluation
Why this matters: the product profile defines the temperature rules a shipment is judged against. Locking it after evaluation guarantees that recorded results always reflect the profile that was in effect — protecting your release decisions and audit trail from accidental changes.
🎨 Improved Experience
Document Uploads
Fixed bug where documents uploaded to one shipment could attach to a different shipment if you navigated away before the upload finished — documents now always attach to the shipment where you started the upload
Shipment Editing
Fixed bug where adding a new tag on the shipment edit screen could silently remove previously assigned tags that had since been deleted from the tag list — existing tag, profile, and user group associations are now preserved when you make unrelated edits
Temperature Release Uploads
Uploading an empty ZIP file or an unsupported file type now shows a clear error message explaining the problem, instead of failing without feedback
Signing In
Fixed bug where returning users with long-lived sessions saw a "400 Bad Request" error page when opening CONTXT and couldn't sign back in — sign-in now works reliably for these accounts
Command Center Map
The shipment risk tooltip on the map no longer includes a link that could lead to an unavailable page — the tooltip now shows the status explanation directly
Workflow Builder
Fixed misaligned text in custom notification messages within the workflow configuration screen
User Access Groups
The feature list in access group settings now shows only the features your organization can manage — internal platform controls no longer appear
🚀 Getting Started
All improvements are automatically available in your CONTXT dashboard. No action is required on your part.
💡 Tips & Best Practices
🎯 Product profiles:
Confirm the correct product profile is assigned before uploading temperature data — once a temperature status is recorded, the profile is locked for that shipment
If a profile needs correcting, do it while the temperature status is still Pending
