This release addresses key customer feedback and resolves several urgent issues affecting shipment tracking and user experience.

Focus on what matters most

  • Reduced email volume: Email notifications now turned off by default for routine events like shipment creation, completion, and origin arrival - reducing inbox clutter by up to 85%

  • Critical alerts stay on: You'll still receive email notifications for important events like temperature excursions, delivery delays, at-risk status, and shipment assignments requiring your review

  • Full in-app visibility: All notifications remain visible in your Command Center inbox, so you never miss important updates

  • Streamlined workflows: Incoming delivery alerts no longer require redundant email registration steps

Why this matters: Based on your feedback about email overload, we've optimized defaults to focus your attention on shipments that need immediate action while keeping complete visibility in the platform.

Default Email Notifications:

Air Route Visualization Restored

Fixed bug where air freight segments weren't displaying properly on shipment maps

  • Dashed arc lines restored: Air transport segments between international locations now render correctly with the characteristic dashed line and arc visualization

  • Share page fix: Air routes now display properly when viewing public shipment share links

  • Transport mode accuracy: Resolved issue where international air segments were incorrectly classified as road transport

Why this matters: You can now accurately track chartered air shipments and international freight, with proper visual distinction between ground and air transport segments - critical for high-value pharmaceutical shipments.

Admin Shipment Visibility

Fixed issue where admin users couldn't view organization shipments

  • Full org access restored: Admin users can now see all shipments within their organization as intended

  • Proper role enforcement: Access controls now correctly apply organizational-level permissions for admin roles

Live Risk Status Display

Shipments in "Created" state no longer show misleading Live Risk status

  • N/A for pre-tracking: Shipments that haven't started transmitting data now show "N/A" instead of a risk status

  • Accurate status: Live Risk status only appears once your shipment has telemetry data being processed

  • Consistent across views: Applied uniformly in both shipment list and detail pages

User Experience Improvements

Multiple small fixes for smoother daily operations

  • Notification timestamps: Inbox notifications now display the time they were received

  • Legal links fixed: Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links during signup now work correctly

  • Filter creation errors resolved: Fixed issue preventing users from creating custom shipment filters

Reviewing Your Notification Settings:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right

  2. Select "Notification Preferences"

  3. Review the updated defaults and customize to your workflow

  4. Email and in-app notifications can be toggled independently for each event type
