Changelog: CONTXT v1.3
Last updated: January 16, 2026
Released January 14, 2026
We're excited to share significant improvements to CONTXT, focused on giving you powerful device management capabilities, flexible date filtering, and enhanced shipment identification. This release enables you to maintain data accuracy without starting over and find shipments faster with custom date ranges.
🆕 What's New
Device Deletion with Automatic Reprocessing
Command Center Device Deletion
Temperature Release Device Deletion
Remove incorrect devices and automatically recalculate shipment metrics
Device removal in both Command Center and Temperature Release: Delete one or multiple devices (except the ⭐ Primary device) from completed shipments when data entry errors occur.
Automatic shipment reprocessing: When you remove a device, the system automatically recalculates all temperature metrics, including Remaining Stability Budget, temperature status, excursion counts, and risk assessments based on the remaining devices
Smart document cleanup: Associated device files are automatically removed when no other devices reference them, while shared documents are preserved
Processing status indicators: The system shows "currently processing" messages during reprocessing and automatically refreshes your view when complete
Why this matters: You can now correct device data errors without recreating entire shipments, saving time while maintaining complete audit trails and data integrity for compliance requirements.
Custom Date Range Filtering
Find shipments faster with flexible date selection for Command Center and Temperature Release
Custom date picker: Select any start and end date to filter shipments in both Command Center and Temperature Release
Multiple timestamp options: Filter by Shipment Created, Planned Arrival, or Actual Arrival dates
Why this matters: Quickly locate shipments within specific timeframes for investigations, reporting, or operational reviews without scrolling through long lists or using workarounds.
Enhanced Shipment Identification
Clearer shipment identification aligned with your operational workflows
Improved field mapping: Order Number field now displays the relevant tracking identifier based on your workflow instead of internal system IDs
Better grouping support: Internal identifiers moved to the Batch ID field for improved filtering and grouping capabilities
Logical shipment sequencing: When grouping by Shipment ID, groups now sort by the most recent requested pickup timestamp, showing the newest orders first
Why this matters: Shipment lists now match how you actually work, reducing confusion when tracking complex multi-leg shipments and making it easier to find what you need.
🎨 Improved Experience
Enhanced Document Management (Temp. Release)
Safer document deletion: Deleted documents are now soft-deleted and hidden from view while being retained for audit purposes
Complete audit trail: All document deletions are properly captured in the activity history
Error handling improvements: Fixed issues that could cause errors when deleting documents from Temperature Release shipments
Filter and View Reliability
Fixed view creation issues: Creating saved views with Temperature Status filters now works correctly without throwing errors
🔧 Behind the Scenes
System Improvements
We’ve made several behind-the-scenes updates to keep CONTXT reliable, compliant, and easy to use.
Audit-safe cleanup
When shipments or devices are removed, the data is retained securely for audit purposes while being hidden from day-to-day views, keeping your workspace clean without losing historical records.Smarter processing safeguards
Clear processing indicators now prevent overlapping edits while shipments are being updated, reducing the risk of errors during device removal or recalculation.Built to match your workflows
The platform now better supports customer-specific shipment identification logic, making it easier for CONTXT to adapt to how your team works today and as your needs evolve.

💡 Tips & Best Practices
🎯 Make the most of device deletion:
Review shipment metrics before and after device deletion to confirm expected changes
Use the processing indicator to know when reprocessing is complete
Remember that device deletion is permanent - deleted device data cannot be recovered
Deleted devices are captured in the audit trail for compliance tracking
🎯 Optimize your date filtering:
Use custom date ranges to focus on specific operational periods for investigations
Combine date filters with other filters (tags, lanes, products) for precise shipment discovery
Save frequently used date range filters as custom views for quick access
